PR & Marketing Director of Operations

Global-5 is a Longwood, Florida-based public relations and marketing agency that has been providing a full spectrum of communications services to our public, private, and nonprofit clients for more than 30 years. Our projects improve safety and mobility, build a foundation for thriving communities, and create the transportation corridors of the future.

We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced director of operations to join our leadership team.

As a high-level position, the director of operations is instrumental in shaping the company's operational strategies and ensuring seamless execution across all departments. This full-time and in-person role involves significant managerial responsibilities, including the supervision of department heads and the ongoing evaluation of company processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage projects, lead teams, and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Reports directly to senior management, providing regular updates on operational progress and challenges.
• Carries out directives from senior management, ensuring company goals and objectives are achieved.
• Leads high-level project management initiatives, ensuring timely and successful project completion.
• Defines, implements, and revises operational policies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develops and executes growth directives aimed at expanding the company’s reach and capabilities.
• Oversees IT and other support services required by Global-5.
• Manages the Global-5 equipment inventory.
• Partners with human resources to create comprehensive job descriptions, recruit top talent, and oversee employee training programs.
• Collaborates with human resources to establish and maintain staff evaluation metrics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversees client support services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Manages procurement and resource allocation to support business operations and growth.
• Directs and manages responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring timely and competitive submissions.

Key Requirements

• BS from an accredited University and minimum 7 years’ experience.
