As a Senior Technical Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare consolidated financial statements and reports, providing valuable insights and technical guidance to support informed decision-making. This role is hybrid in Sandy Springs, GA
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statements and reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Ensure compliance with SEC reporting and disclosure requirements, staying abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Conduct in-depth accounting research and analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Provide technical accounting guidance to finance teams and other stakeholders, addressing complex accounting issues and facilitating decision-making processes.
- Support the creation and maintenance of accounting policies and participate in strategic projects to enhance financial reporting processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate successful audit outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly tie-outs of press releases, investor presentations, and other communication materials.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives, including the annual goodwill impairment analysis, and provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA track preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive continuous improvement.
- Public accounting experience is a plus, along with familiarity with SEC reporting and technical accounting under U.S. GAAP.
- Experience with CFIN/S/4HANA for Central Finance or Workiva is advantageous but not required.
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
