```Duties```
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Provide general administrative support, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Receive and distribute mail and packages
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with meeting and event coordination
- Following Post orders for assigned post.
- Be the liaison between Client Specialist and GAP Management
- Patrol hourly. (as needed).
- Check Email at the beginning of their shift (and as needed).
- Complete Daily Pass-down to other shift(s).
- Make proper notifications to property management and GAP management (if applicable)
- Make sure all reports are completed and filled out accurately on your shift. (if applicable)
- Ensure all visitors and vendors are being cleared for entry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge and familiarity with computers and security equipment, including radios.
- Familiarity with security officer processes and procedures, access control and visitor management safety inspections, emergency response, and basic threat detection.
- Quality customer service oriented interpersonal skills, and special techniques to promote client
values, and interact formally and informally with business partners internal and external.
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding in incident response, Crisis Management, Incident Management, Emergency Response, situational awareness & de-escalation.
- Experience working as a receptionist
- Knowledge and familiarity with computers and security equipment, including access control,
surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ability to work comfortably in a team environment, as well as individually
- Strong time management, ability to multitask, and attention to detail capabilities, ability to multitask, organizational and problem solving skills, in a fast paced and flexible environment
- Ability to master the company's computer based technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school degree or GED or equivalent years of experience
- Active Guard Card (Texas Security License)
- 1.5 years of security experience.
- Must be punctual and have good time management skills.
- Must have good customer service skills / good communication skills.
- Customer Service.
- Must be able to follow instructions and provide feedback when requested.
- Need a strong attention to detail.
- Be available to for additional training
- Ability to lift up to 20.5 lbs. to support emergency response or relocation
- Ability stay on your feet for extended periods to time for Incident Management or
support to Campus Security Operations
- Computer proficient; Google Products, Instant Messengers
- Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends to adapt to our 24/7 operation
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience working with Lenel, CCTV monitoring, incident management
Technology
- 1 year of supporting a client office at a level of proficiency equal to both a security lead and
facilities coordinator.
- The flexibility to work any assigned shift and to attend meetings and training sessions
- Familiarity with security equipment, strong attention to detail.
- Texas Guard Card.
- First Aid / CPR Certified (a plus)
- Experience working in the security, medical, emergency services, law enforcement, military, or customer service industry is helpful.
- Vendor management experience
