Job Description:
The Product Owner/Analyst will be responsible for driving product development, working closely with stakeholders, and ensuring product alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mortgage-related product management and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and participate in scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytics needs and provide actionable insights.
- Present ideas and information in an engaging and comprehensible manner.
- Work closely with product and technology teams to gather and deliver requirements.
- Develop communication and outreach materials for internal and external audiences.
- Engage in product development, including designing products, developing roadmaps, translating design requirements, and prototyping.
- Manage product demand, releases, and backlog.
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and gather feedback from teams.
- Align product strategy with business objectives.
- Create product dashboards and executive reports to showcase development activities.
- Maintain product backlog and conduct product demos.
- Influence stakeholders through negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
- Conduct triaging of issues and data mapping.
Minimum Required Experience:
- 10 years of experience in a Product Owner/Analyst role.
- Proven experience managing the product development process.
- Strong knowledge of database modeling, data mapping, and system interface documentation.
- Experience writing and understanding data rules.
- Experience performing user acceptance, integration testing, and story acceptance.
- Ability to gather and explain information clearly to answer critical business questions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Experience using JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence.
Preferred Experience:
- Fannie Mae Multifamily knowledge is a plus.
