Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial records. \
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budget planning.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation as needed.
- Respond to inquiries from management and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
