Sr Azure Solution Architect needs 8 years experience architecting and implementing Azure cloud solutions.

Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex migrations with multiple stakeholders.
Experience with Azure cloud technologies and migration strategies.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (ARM templates, Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and server less computing.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI / CD pipelines.
ITIL Foundations certification.
Preferred Qualifications :
Deep understanding of Azure services (Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, etc.) and their integration.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) and experience with automation frameworks.
Experience delivering IT services in support of a biomedical research environment.
One or more of the following certifications : Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Google Cloud Professional Certification, PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).
Sr Azure Solution Architect duties :
Monitor cloud performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
Conduct regular reviews of cloud infrastructure and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure that cloud solutions are highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster-resilient.
Design and implement cloud security controls to protect data and applications.
Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and policies.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential risks.
