Responsibilities
Sales and Client Management
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Engage prospects digitally but also in person.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Build and maintain pipeline.
- Present, promote, and sell products or services to meet customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hardware requirements.
- Present and recommend suitable products and solutions based on client needs.
- Close deals and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Sourcing and Procurement
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Customer Engagement
- Conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, product demonstrations, and issue resolution.
Market Research and Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide feedback to the management team to refine sales strategies and offerings.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry advancements, and competitor activities.
- Analyze market demand and stock availability to make informed buying and selling decisions.
Territory Management
- Plan and organize daily schedules to efficiently manage prospective and existing customer growth.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of customers and prospects.
Negotiation and Pricing
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and customers to maximize profitability.
- Establish pricing strategies that are competitive and profitable.
Sales Reporting
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Document all customer interactions and transactions in using company software stack.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, and inventory.
- Prepare sales reports and purchase orders as needed.
Logistics and Coordination
- Coordinate product deliveries, ensuring accurate and on-time shipments.
- Manage inventory levels and resolve any supply chain or delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven work experience in sales or a similar role (IT sales experience preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
- Strong in-person and phone/digital prospecting skills
- Ability to make outbound cold calls
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a results-driven approach.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events
- Knowledge of IT hardware industry (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and follow up consistently.
- Ability to work remotely and independently while meeting targets and deadlines.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree
- Formal Sales Training (preferred)
Work Environment
This is an office based position with travel and field-based responsibilities that involves traveling within the assigned territory. The candidate must be comfortable with travel and meeting clients at various locations. In-office only, work from home is not available. 43 Hour work week.
