Detail Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and a keen eye for detail. Technician will be CROSS TRAIN. This role involves various tasks related to vehicle maintenance, including cleaning, buffing, and window cleaning. The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and satisfaction.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and inquiries professionally.
• Perform thorough cleaning of vehicles, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-maintained.
• Execute buffing procedures to enhance the appearance of vehicle surfaces.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including custodial duties as needed.
• Drive vehicles safely to and from designated areas within the facility.
• Detail vehicles meticulously, ensuring every aspect meets quality expectations.

Summary of Duties:

• Remove debris from interior by vacuum or air gun
• Scrub floors and floor mats along with vacuuming of trunk and spare tire compartment
• Use assigned chemicals and tools to prepare floors and seats for interior location to complete
• Pull cars up from back of lane to assure timely completion and lane stays full

WASH-BAY

• Wash exterior of vehicle removing any debris and road grime with assigned chemicals
• All door jams and trunk jambs along with engine bay are washed with chemicals designated along with rims and wheel wells
• Bugs on vehicles should be removed with bug sponges and chemicals
• All vehicles assigned should have dressing applied as needed

INTERIOR

• Vacuum interior of the vehicle scrubbing interior panels and seats along with center console, rear package trays using assigned chemicals and air gun
• Inspect car for debris upon completion before sending to next location

WINDOWS

• Clean interior and exterior of windows with assigned window cleaner
• Remove decals from exterior or interior
• Transport vehicles helping QC after inspection of vehicles

BUFFING (Experienced Preferably)

• Removal of water from exterior of vehicle along with claying of car
• Apply wax to assigned cars and remove wax from vehicle
• Remove dealer stickers along with license plates
• High speed buffing of cars as needed
• Remove debris from exterior with thinner and al-sol (i.e., tar, paint, road grim)
• Dress tires & wheel wells with assigned chemical on assigned vehicles

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Proficiency in buffing techniques and equipment operation.
• Attention to detail in all cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to drive various types of vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Familiarity with custodial practices to maintain cleanliness in work areas.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay : This role is PIECE rate. Where compensation system are paid based on the number of vehicles. Which gives employees to earn more.

Average range $14.00 - $21.00 or $125 daily Pay is UNCAPPED based on daily production.

w/ weekly bonus incentive based on production.
