GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Front Office IT Support Specialist in the Greencastle, PA area.
Position Overview:Position Overview:
This position will provide basic support for general computing infrastructures across the enterprise in addition to basic support of client's customer-facing applications. In this role, the individual will align his or her activities directly to enterprise goals, objectives, and center of excellence vision in terms of front office strategy. This individual will focus on continuous improvement as well as ITIL alignment in all aspects of the front office center of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Install, support, and maintain desktop business applications.
- Handle Service Desk requests in a timely fashion.
- Provide technical support on various proprietary customer-facing applications.
- Actively participates in the continuous improvement and ITIL alignment for client computing infrastructure.
- Some general IT, technical support, and related experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, 11, or Windows 7 in a networked environment.
- Working knowledge of business productivity applications and devices such as Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, printers, scanners, etc.
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Experience with ITIL concepts a plus.
- Strong analytical, listening, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Strong drive for technical innovation and a passion to deliver business value; results and value driven.
- Exhibits commitment to customer service.
- Evaluates self continuously. Actively seeks self improvement opportunities. Self- motivated.
- Must be able to efficiently manage time in order to balance trouble ticket resolution as well as completing IS Requests. Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Monitor Service Desk trouble tickets and provide appropriate responses to maintain at least a 90% customer satisfaction rating.
- Perform system administration for network in the areas of security, user maintenance, and software configuration files.
- On-call support may be required during non business hours for critical emergencies.
