GDC IT Solutions is seeking a Telecom Specialist to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity, and is based in Columbus, OH .
Position Overview
As a Telecom Specialist , you will be responsible for managing a variety of telecommunication tasks related to MARCS radio systems, mobile device management, and infrastructure support. This position requires strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, including inventory management and asset tracking. You may be required to travel to the London, OH site for on-site inventory management and system checks.
Responsibilities
- Manage 50 telecom-related tickets, ensuring timely resolution through troubleshooting, data entry, and critical thinking.
- Track and manage assets and inventory, including MARCS radios and related technology.
- Travel to the London, OH site to inventory radios and other telecom equipment as required.
- Modify and create program modules for MARCS radio systems.
- Manage mobile devices using Intune and Tango management systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to peers, ensuring efficient system functionality and issue resolution.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including flow diagrams, test methods, and application functionalities.
- Collaborate with remote team members while maintaining a high level of independent responsibility.
