Global Equity Finance, Inc is seeking a highly efficient, analytical Mortgage Loan Processor to add to our team. This Processor will work primarily with our senior and executive Loan Officers.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses strong decision-making and critical thinking skills, in addition to a personable attitude and willingness to learn our methods. This highly competitive position provides the opportunity for you to work directly with some of the best minds in the mortgage industry, and training for this position is provided by our Senior Processing team.
Job Duties
- Manage and maintain a loan pipeline with maximum efficiency and high conversion rates
- Move loans through underwriting from initial submission to lender through closing
- Communicate with clients regarding any missing documents or any underwriting questions
- Review loan submissions, send out disclosures and compliance documents, verify qualifications, submit complete packages to underwriting, review approvals and satisfy conditions, finalize loan amounts and closing costs, etc.
- Communicate with Underwriters, Borrowers and Loan Officers to ensure loan process is running smoothly
Ideal Qualifications
- Must be able to commute to our San Diego location
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of mortgage loan processing experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills and superb organizational skills
- Ability to make calculated decisions based upon the needs of the loans (e.g. communicating with borrowers when specific documents are needed, prioritizing which loans to work on)
- Ability to work collaboratively, independently, and under pressure
- Self-motivated
- Open to learning new methods and take direction from executive team on best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
