Job Overview:
This Project Manager role is within the Revenue Management portfolio. The PM will support two main projects, IRIS (Revenue Integrity) and Fareworks (Pricing Strategy).Project Details:
- Iris (Revenue Integrity): Focus on ensuring no double bookings and resolving revenue discrepancies. This project is a capital initiative
- Fareworks (Pricing Strategy): A fast-paced, ever-evolving project currently in the second phase.
TARGET PROFILE:
- App Dev PM, with 7 years of experience
- Familiar with both agile and waterfall
- MS Project experience
- Ideally wants someone who has grown from a BA to a PM
Responsibilities:
- Support and manage the execution of both Iris and Fareworks.
- Oversee project timelines, ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions, and drive project progress.
- Collaborate with technical teams to gather information and ensure the project is on track.
- Manage the project budget, reporting, and status updates. This includes creating decks, maintaining timelines, and utilizing MS Project for scheduling.
- Proactively manage project risks, scope, and deadlines. Ask the right questions to uncover any hidden risks or challenges.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in application development.
- Strong background in both Agile (Revenue Management projects) and Waterfall (Cargo/Sales projects) methodologies.
- Experience managing project budgets and working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in MS Project for scheduling and project updates.
- Ability to quickly acclimate to new projects, work independently, and understand both the technical and business aspects of the project.
Skills:
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills ask questions to understand and resolve risks.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands and environments.
- Strong communication skills, able to present updates to stakeholders and report project status.
