Global Harvest Foods has an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-starting individual to join our team working as a Strategic Pricing Manager, in Minneapolis, MN. This individual will lead the development and execution of pricing strategies across the organization's products and services. This role is critical in analyzing market trends, costs, and competitive positioning to determine the optimal pricing to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy Development:
- Develop and refine the pricing strategy based on business goals, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure that pricing strategies align with overall business strategies.
Pricing Analysis and Decision Support:
- Conduct detailed pricing analysis to determine the profitability of products and services.
- Use analytics and modeling to forecast the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profit.
- Provide recommendations based on analytical findings to senior management.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends and pricing tactics of competitors to stay ahead in the market.
- Analyze customer behavior and market dynamics to refine pricing strategies.
Pricing Policies and Guidelines:
- Develop and maintain pricing policies that reflect the company's strategic goals.
- Ensure pricing practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to implement pricing strategies effectively.
- Provide training and support to sales staff on pricing tools and methodologies.
Pricing Tools and Systems Management:
- Oversee the selection and management of pricing tools and systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of pricing information in all relevant systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in pricing, finance, or a similar analytical role, ideally in the CPG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives.
- Proficient in MS Excel and pricing software.
