Credentialed Trainer / ATE Support - Emergency Department

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Credentialed Trainer/ATE Support to join our dynamic healthcare team in the Emergency Department and Inpatient settings. This individual will play a crucial role in providing training, support, and troubleshooting to staff, ensuring efficient use of [specific software/system/equipment], and fostering continuous learning within the department. The Credentialed Trainer will also be responsible for conducting assessments, facilitating hands-on training sessions, and delivering technical support related to the application of [ATE/Health IT Systems] within the clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training & Support:
• Provide hands-on training to staff within the Emergency Department and Inpatient settings on [specific system, software, or clinical application], ensuring all staff are competent and confident in using the tools effectively.
• Conduct regular follow-up sessions to reinforce learning and address any issues or questions that arise post-training.
• Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and e-learning modules tailored to the needs of different departments.
• Provide one-on-one or group coaching to new staff members or those needing additional support.
• ATE Support:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to [system/equipment] in the Emergency Department and Inpatient areas.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, and operational teams to ensure that all technical systems are running efficiently and meet the needs of healthcare providers.
• Coordinate and oversee ATE support for system upgrades, installations, and general maintenance.
• Quality Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance the user experience within the Emergency Department and Inpatient settings through effective application of technology and training.
• Collect feedback from staff to continuously improve training programs and resolve recurring challenges.
• Participate in departmental meetings to stay aligned with ongoing projects and system updates.
• Credentialing & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices for system use within the clinical environment.
• Maintain professional credentials and stay current with new certifications, technology, and training methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• years of experience in a clinical or healthcare training environment, preferably in Emergency Department or Inpatient settings.
• Previous experience working with healthcare technology systems such as [specify software/equipment] is highly preferred.
• Certifications and Credentials:
• Credentialed Trainer certification (or equivalent) preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
