About Us
Global Integrity Investments LLC is a growing real estate acquisition firm specializing in the acquisition and management of multi-family complexes. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records of the firm, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, and assisting with budgeting, auditing, and payroll. The position requires a thorough understanding of real estate accounting principles, tax law, compliance, and property management software, particularly AppFolio and DoorLoop.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Bookkeeping
Manage the day-to-day financial transactions for the company, including processing accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
Oversee and audit rent collections and expenses for each property, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budget expectations.
Run monthly performance reports for each property, including budget vs. actual comparisons, to track financial performance.
Track and balance construction budgets for various real estate projects, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
Apply extensive knowledge of real estate tax laws and grant programs. Prepare and file all necessary tax documents, including real estate-related tax forms, grants, and other legal filings.
Administer payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing. File all employment-related forms, such as W-2s, 1099s, and other state and federal filings.
Perform regular audits of financials, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements to maintain financial integrity.
Utilize property management software (AppFolio, DoorLoop) to manage tenant data, track payments, and generate financial reports.
With at least 2 years of experience in property management, you will bring an understanding of how to efficiently manage the financials of residential properties, communicate with tenants, and ensure smooth operations.
