Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience facilitating Agile teams, particularly in the financial services sector. They will be responsible for ensuring Agile methodologies and best practices are effectively applied to enhance team performance and deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Scrum Master for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Act as a servant leader, fostering a high-performing team culture and removing impediments to team progress.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and development teams to maintain a well-prioritized product backlog and ensure smooth project execution.
- Utilize JIRA to manage backlogs, track progress, and generate reports for stakeholders.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Agile teams on best practices and continuous improvement.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives and contribute to the overall adoption of Agile frameworks within the organization.
- Facilitate communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution within teams and across departments.
- Ensure alignment with business goals while maintaining a high level of organizational and multitasking efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience working within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in JIRA for Agile project management and tracking.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other enterprise Agile frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in an Agile environment.
- Ability to drive Agile adoption at both the team and organizational level.
