Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist for a 16 Week contract opportunity that is fully onsite in San Diego, CA.
Requirements
- H.S Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- 2 Years of Experience as a Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist
- Strong knowledge of Medi-Cal (Mcal) and Medi-Cal Managed Care Hospital billing (HB)
- Proficiency in microsoft products: Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to review denials/underpayments and know corrective actions to take based on the denial rationale and reason codes
- EPIC highly preferred
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
