Senior SAP ABAP Fiori Developer
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Fiori Developer with 15 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of ABAP programming, SAP Fiori development, and integration techniques. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and implementing Fiori applications, and leveraging your expertise in ABAP to ensure seamless backend integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement SAP Fiori applications using Fiori/UI5, ABAP, and other SAP technologies.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and customize SAP ABAP programs, function modules, BAPIs, and RFCs for various SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC).
- Integrate Fiori applications with SAP backend systems through OData services and other integration methods.
- Implement SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using design principles such as MVC architecture, UI5 controls, and SAP Web IDE.
- Optimize ABAP code for performance and scalability in SAP systems.
- Perform system upgrades and provide technical support for ongoing SAP Fiori applications.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of SAP implementations, from requirements gathering to post-production support.
- Provide expertise in SAP Fiori/UI5 application deployment and troubleshooting.
- Work with SAP Basis and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application performance.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance in SAP Fiori development best practices.
- Continuously improve development practices and ensure adherence to SAP coding standards and guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in SAP development, with at least 5 years focusing on SAP Fiori and UI5 development.
- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP, with experience in custom report writing, interface development, and debugging.
- Deep understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 development, OData services, and integration with SAP backend systems.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC is a must.
- Proficient in SAP Fiori tools such as SAP Web IDE, Fiori Launchpad, and SAP Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of SAP standard Fiori apps and how to extend them.
- Experience with SAP Fiori development using MVC architecture, SAPUI5, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and SAP HANA Cloud Integration (HCI) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications in the cloud environment.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori Security (roles, authorizations).
- SAP certification in ABAP or Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
