We are looking for a Tool Crib Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of tools and supplies, issuing tools to employees, tracking usage, and restocking as needed. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a tool crib or similar role and be comfortable using computers for data entry and tracking.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, sharpening, and maintaining all tools and holders for the machine shop
- Maintain accurate records of tools and materials in the tool crib.
- Ensure that all tools and materials are returned to the tool crib after use
- Inspect tools and materials for damage or wear before returning them to the tool crib.
- Recognize tooling and/or other problems that arise
- Provide assistance to workers in locating tools and materials.
- Keep track of inventory levels and order new supplies as needed.
- Must be detail oriented and a self-starter who can work with minimum supervision
- Required to use various measurement instruments, sharpening tools, grinders, hand tools, etc.
- Will use drawings, specs, and/or verbal instructions as well as exercising judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals
- Schedule preventative maintenance on the equipment
- Meet deadlines and document progress
- Be flexible, dependable, time conscious, and be able to move from project to project with minimal supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures
Skills
- Minimum two years Tool Crib experience
- Mechanical ability with basic tools
- Basic computer skills
- Use basic hand held measuring tools
- Use simple math to perform basic calculations
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 5:30am to 2:00pm

Wear appropriate safety equipment for face, ears, eyes and extremities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a machine shop environment. Must be able to remain standing/walking position for majority of the time. These positions are required to work around high-speed machinery and equipment and the use of any required safety equipment. There is exposure to machine oil, metal filings, unpleasant odors and noise. Job functions on and around mechanized equipment will present the need for alertness, accuracy and safety awareness.

Pay: $20.00 - $31.00 per hour
