Weekend Referral Coordinator in our Reseda office
21-$25 per hour range
Friday, Saturday and Sundays (8am-6pm)
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook have excellent customer service phone skills, a multitasker in a fast-paced environment
Must be familiar with end of life / speaking with referral sources for hospice / palliative care services
Work independently and self-motivated
Handle a high volume of phone calls, emails, Teams messages
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Referral Coordinator is responsible for activities and actions related to promoting the services and expertise of hospice to the medical community and to patients and family members.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education in healthcare related field
- Certified, licensed, or registered as appropriate
- Teo years of healthcare experience required. One year experience in hospice preferred
- Knowledge of hospice requirements including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance guidelines
- Good communications skills
- Ability to respond to the needs of physicians, discharge planners, patients and family members
- Ability to coordinate services with referral sources, hospice staff and patients / families
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Salary : $21 - $25
