Exciting opportunity for a passionate hands-on Health and Safety Manager to join a F500 consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturer. Manage all aspects of plant H&S to ensure a safe, accident-free work environment. Develop, lead, implement, and support the plant safety culture.

Mentor and manage 3 direct reports. Report to the Plant Manager and be a key member of the Leadership Team.
Compensation : $125K - $150K 15% bonus 9% 401K match outstanding relocation.
Location : Modesto, CA
Responsibilities include :
- Manage all aspects of Health and Safety programs.
- Drive a comprehensive, multi-year strategy to continue the plant’s journey towards Health & Safety excellence.
- Provide strategic leadership, training and guidance for the Safety department including people, data and budgetary responsibility.
- Lead the conduction of accident investigations, root cause analysis and compile accident reports.
- Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership and support plant on regulatory compliance issues in Safety.
- Build world-class safety programs.
- Build and manage Safety Committees.
- Plan, implement, and ensure effective training of all H&S programs.
- Conduct risk assessments, and implement risk management strategies.
- Experience in leading accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure effective communication and compliance of State, Federal, Local and Corporate Safety regulations.
