Overview
The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing general administrative HR support, reporting to the Human Resources Manager. This is a well-established, fast-paced manufacturing company offering exposure to a broad range of HR related activities. Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative HR responsibilities
- Oversee the recruiting process: Update job description, review resumes, coordinate interviews with the hiring manager.
- Maintain personnel files, updating records to accommodate new hires.
- Maintain excellent employee relations through effective communication.
- Actively utilize HRIS System to maintain reporting.
- Fundamental knowledge of onboarding to ensure efficient recruiting and hiring process for candidates and new hires.
- Benefit enrollment, process applicable forms for workers compensation.
- coordinate corporate training
- Ability to field employee questions and seek solutions. Keep HR abreast of sensitive information.
- Assist with creating and executing guidelines and policies. Maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates/Bachelor's degree in a relative field.
- The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of progressive working experience supporting administrative HR functions.
- Must have excellent computer skills (Microsoft, Excel).
- Manufacturing industry experience is ideal.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
