Automotive service advisor

GLOBAL PACIFIC SUPPORT is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through the service process and ensuring their automotive needs are met efficiently and effectively. Your communication skills, automotive knowledge, and dedication to customer satisfaction will contribute to a positive service experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and engage with them to assess their service needs
• Provide clear explanations of automotive issues and recommend appropriate services
• Schedule service appointments and manage repair workflows efficiently
• Prepare accurate estimates and work orders based on customer requirements
• Coordinate with technicians to facilitate prompt and high-quality repairs
• Update customers on their vehicle status during service and resolve any questions or concerns
• Document customer interactions and maintain comprehensive service records
• Ensure a smooth and organized service operation in the shop

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Proficient in computer systems for scheduling and record management
