Overview :

Global Partner Solutions, Inc. (GPSI) is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Recovery Specialist to support operations at a manufacturing facility in Cleveland, OH. This role is critical to improving production efficiency and quality by addressing supplier performance issues, reducing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and cutting the current scrap rate. The Supplier Recovery Specialist will play a hands-on role in overseeing quality, administrative, and production processes to ensure that annual production goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities :

Daily Onsite Oversight

Maintain a daily presence to monitor and improve quality, administrative, and production processes.

Supplier Performance Recovery

Collaborate with suppliers to progressively, decrease scrap rate and increase production output

NCR Management

Actively push NCRs through all milestones by implementing corrective actions and ensuring timely resolution.

Quality Assurance : Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and implement strategies to reduce the scrap rate to meet production standards.

Process Improvement : Identify inefficiencies in production workflows and develop actionable solutions to optimize operations.

Stakeholder Engagement : Serve as the key point of contact between suppliers, production teams, and management to provide updates and align on recovery plans.

Compliance Monitoring

Ensure all parts meet quality and compliance standards before entering production.

Performance Reporting : Track and report progress on quality, production rates, and recovery milestones to management.

Key Deliverables :

Achieve production goals

Significantly reduce NCRs and improve corrective action completion rates.

Decrease the scrap rate to an acceptable standard.

Enhance supplier accountability and streamline production processes.

Required Qualifications :

Proven experience in supplier recovery, production management, or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of NCR processes, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

Experience with high-precision manufacturing, preferably in complex aluminum castings for aerospace, aircraft, and automotive industries.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and driving measurable results.

Work Environment :

Onsite position at a Cleveland, OH manufacturing facility, 40 hours per week.

Total annual production : 500 parts

Hands-on role requiring close collaboration with suppliers and production teams to achieve immediate and sustained performance improvements
