We are seeking anInside Sales Representative(in-office position) who will play a crucial role in building new business and maintaining current accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience selling janitorial and sanitation products, specifically to VA Hospitals and government entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using assigned cadence make outside contact with Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) and DoD hospitals to establish contacts, educate on who GPS is, and make appointments for manufacturers.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally to assist customers with placing orders, checking product availability, and providing accurate quotes
- Utilize CRM to follow up/reach out to leads to generate new relationships and set meetings with Manufacturers Rep
- Listen to customer needs, offer suitable products, and provide pricing information to generate sales
- Accurately enter customer orders into the system, ensuring all details are correct and complete
- Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services and address any concerns or issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and order details
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer experience
- Travel to customer sites may be needed on very rare occasions
- Previous experience (5-8 years) in sales or customer service, preferably in a related industry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or related field is a plus
- Understanding of government contracts a plus
- Prior military service a plus
