Seeking a Seasoned Engineering Leader!
Are you an experienced engineering leader with a passion for optimizing production efficiency, safety, and quality? As the Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in streamlining manufacturing processes, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver with expertise in Lean Manufacturing, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production and Process Management: Oversee production flow, sustain and enhance plant equipment, and implement cost-saving measures for current and future programs while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Project and Budget Management: Lead projects from proposal to execution, establishing and maintaining budgets and schedules while instilling an "On-Time, Under-Budget" mindset within the team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to identify and resolve production issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide manufacturing engineering support.
- Personnel Management: Supervise team members, oversee work assignments, conduct performance evaluations, and make personnel decisions, including promotions and disciplinary actions.
- Cost Analysis and Reporting: Conduct cost estimations, payback analyses, and risk assessments while maintaining structured reporting systems to track project statuses and risks.

Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, etc.) required
- Master’s degree in Production or Business Management (MBA) is a plus
Manufacturing Experience:
- 12 years in manufacturing, preferably within the munitions industry
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel as needed
- Background in DOE, ISO, and risk management is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
In compliance with pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $118,000 to $177,000. The final offer may vary based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
