Job Summary
The Purchasing Clerk plays a crucial role in the procurement process, ensuring that all necessary materials and supplies are sourced efficiently to support the organization's operational needs. This position involves collaborating with various departments to manage inventory levels, maintain supplier relationships, and facilitate logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience with procurement systems and a strong understanding of supply chain management.

Duties

• Procure materials and supplies in accordance with production planning requirements.
• Conduct sourcing activities to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
• Manage inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Coordinate logistics for the timely delivery of goods, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and streamline purchasing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to procurement or inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Experience in sourcing, production planning, and inventory control is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
