- Contract Review and Analysis: Conduct in-depth reviews of power contracts and related documents to identify critical information and potential issues.
- Contract Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with contract terms, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Client Support: Respond to client inquiries regarding contract specifics, produce contract summaries, and investigate contract-related questions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline contract management processes, automate tasks, and enhance efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Represent the company in regulatory proceedings and ensure compliance with CPUC and FERC regulations.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the energy industry
- Strong understanding of energy and utility terms
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, accounting)
- Preferred:
- Engineering or Accounting degree
- Knowledge of the California energy market
- Familiarity with CPUC and FERC regulations
- Experience with Enviance and FileNet systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
