Position description:
- Stepping in to lead an ongoing project by the Legal department focused on cost optimization with respect to external law firms.
- Activities would include:
- Building out a playbook for vendor negotiations
- Supporting attorney conversations with e-billing specific support regarding alternative fee arrangements and discounts.
- Individual will partner with the finance department on tracking and reporting law firm savings.
Additional project activities could include:
- Generating business-focused, automated reports within the TyMetrix environment
- Supporting accrual and annual budget process
- Make modifications to the Tymetrix platform setup to reflect new modules in the AP system
Required experience with tools and technology:
- Expert user of WoltersKluwer Tymetrix T360 e-billing platform.
- Legal operations experience, particularly in e-billing /law firm vendor management space.
Desired skills:
- Strong client service mentality, good critical thinking skills, and the ability to bring forward recommendations, flexibility, and reliability.
