Summary
- The Master Data Management (MDM) Steward will utilize processes and policies for how data is managed and accessed in our systems landscape. In addition, you will assist with the development of systems and processes for data sourcing, mastering, and dissemination of data sets across various platforms.
- They are required to be a good communicator, an active listener with a critical thinking mindset, who will support the operational direction of master data management within an enterprise platform.
Essential Duties
- Understands business requirements and translates them into business rules to assist with configuring master data, workflows, and integration processes to effectively support the creation and ongoing maintenance of master data.
- Gains awareness of requirements for our data strategy, the data governance councils, and the design and maintenance of Master Data Management applications
- Provides research to support the vision, strategy, goals, and objectives regarding data governance and master data management, aligned with defined SLAs and KPIs
- Learn to analyze business processes to determine data quality root cause.
- Master Data Management Steward builds support for the MDM strategy, process design, MDM architecture requirements, and the implementation roadmap.
- Seeks opportunities to provide data consulting in support of business and departmental objectives.
- Assists with data governance and the development of master data management platforms
- Master Data Management Steward uses a systematic approach and helps develop MDM processes efficiencies
