Job Description:
SUMMARY
- The Master Data Management (MDM) Steward will utilize processes and policies for how data is managed and accessed in our systems landscape.
- In addition, you will assist with the development of systems and processes for data sourcing, mastering, and dissemination of data sets across various platforms.
- They are required to be a good communicator, active listener with a critical thinking mindset, who will support the operational direction of master data management within an enterprise platform.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Understands business requirements and translates into business rules to assist with configuring master data, workflows, and integration processes to effectively support the creation and ongoing maintenance of master data.
- Gains awareness of requirements for our data strategy, the data governance councils, and the design and maintenance Master Data Management applications
- Provides research to support the vision, strategy, goals, and objectives regarding data governance and master data management, aligned with defined SLAs and KPIs
- Learn to analyse business processes to determine data quality root cause.
- Builds support for the MDM strategy, process design, MDM architecture requirements and the implementation roadmap.
- Seeks opportunities to provide data consulting in support of business and departmental objectives.
- Assists with data governance and the development of master data management platforms
- Uses a systematic approach and helps develop MDM processes efficiencies
