Quality Technician/ Aerospace Manufacturing Lab Technician
Here are the key duties and responsibilities:
Sample Handling and Testing:
- Contract Duration 3 Months
- Pay range - $20 to $22/hr
- Aerospace Manufacturing Lab Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of materials used in aerospace products.
- Aerospace lab technicians contribute to preventing defects, reducing waste, and improving overall quality and efficiency in the aerospace industry.
Here are the key duties and responsibilities:
Sample Handling and Testing:
- Prepare and label metallographic mount for process verification - Weld and Heat treatment.
- Hardness check for heat treatment cycle verification
- Material certification validation
- Heat treats cycle validation.
- Following internal processes for compliance verification/validation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory spaces.
- Record and analyze test results against specifications.
- Identify defects and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare quality reports of material testing.
- Support regulatory (NADCAP, AS9100, etc), customer, and internal audits.
- Assist in developing inspection plans and writing procedures.
- Train production personnel in testing methods.
- Liaise with the manufacturing and supply chain team regarding specifications.
