Senior Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for capital projects related to process equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
• Own and complete large-scale projects with challenging timelines.
• Write high-quality technical documentation within required quality systems.
• Drive results on multiple complex assignments simultaneously.
• Participate in all phases of engineering projects, from conceptual design to qualification.
• Troubleshoot equipment and determine root causes of failures.
• Own quality records related to manufacturing process equipment.
• Provide input into preventative maintenance plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain engineering turnover packages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 8 years of relevant experience as a Process Engineer
• 6 years of experience in a GxP environment
• Experience with Bioprocess Equipment (Ultrafiltration, Chromatography, TMIX, Single Use Mixers, Buffer Prep Vessels, Temperature Control Units, Fermenters, Reaction Vessels, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)  
• Ability to present work to peers and influence leadership decision
• Technical writing skills
• Structured problem-solving approach to determine root cause and develop effective actions
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Basic statistical analysis techniques
• Ability to interact well with others and take ownership of assignments
• Ability to drive results on multiple complex assignments simultaneously
