Job Title : Product Manager - Power Platform
Contract Duration : 6 Months (Extension Possible)
Pay range : $70 - 85 / hr
Location : New York City, NY
Work Type : Hybrid, Once a week in office
Story Behind the Need :
Business Unit : Global Technology Control Testing
Project : The Global Technology Control Testing team is looking to update their Control's Library, currently existing in Excel and transitioning to PowerPlatforms.
Typical Day in Role :
The Product Manager will develop and implement product strategies that align with the company's financial goals and market needs.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring products meet quality and regulatory standards.
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales) and external partners to ensure successful product delivery. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and market introduction.
Customer Feedback : Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings.
Financial Analysis : Develop pricing strategies and financial models to ensure product profitability. Utilize Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all products comply with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Project Management : Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery. Leverage Power Platforms for efficient project management and automation.
Performance Monitoring : Track product performance metrics and KPIs to assess success and identify areas for improvement. Use Power BI to monitor and report on key performance indicators.
Candidate Requirements / Must-Have Skills :
10 years of experience as a Product Manager
Strong understanding of system creation and design
Experienced with Power Platforms (including Power BI)
Nice to Have Skills :
Prior Financial Institution Experience
Soft Skills :
Strong Analytical Mindset
Stakeholder communication experience
Time Management Experience
Required Education :
Bachelor's degree in a related field

The ideal candidate would have a strong background in Product Management and experience working closely with a team to accomplish project milestones and adhere to deadlines.
