Contract for RN Infection Preventionist in Sitka, AK- $4600 Weekly
13 Weeks | Shift will be discussed at interview | 40 hours
Gross weekly pay: $4600
Location: Sitka, AK
Minimum 3 years of acute care/infection control experience and/or data collection and performance improvement/risk management experience.
Must have BLS (AHA), Certification in Infection Control (CIC), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
Must have active AK License.
Summary
As a Travel RN Infection Preventionist, you will be instrumental in safeguarding patient health through effective infection control practices. Reporting to the Infection Control Manager, you will utilize your core skills in data management, epidemiology, and patient observation to monitor and analyze infection data. Your premium experience in acute care and infectious disease care will enhance our risk management strategies. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough data collection and management to monitor infection rates and implement effective prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with infection control protocols and risk management practices.
- Observe and assess patient conditions, providing education on infection prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay updated on epidemiology trends and best practices in infection control.
- Obtain and maintain relevant certifications, including BLS and Infection Control Certification.
