We are hiring "Project Manager - Data Science" for one of our Clients based in Atlanta, GA. This is a Full-time position with Onsite work mode.
Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Data Scientists at all levels to develop and implement data-driven solutions that support the organization's strategic objectives. Ensure effective team management and project execution, driving innovation and delivering actionable insights that enhance business performance.
Required skills, experience & qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Program Management Professional (PgPM) certification preferred
- More than 3 years experience in a managerial or leadership role overseeing engineering or software-based teams.
- Experience driving project management activities in the Data services, MDM, BI, Data Science type projects and technologies.
- Experience in Data Warehouse, Data Science and Visualizations Projects.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong experience in Python and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of big data technologies and platforms like Hadoop, Spark and Databricks.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering data-driven solutions that have significantly impacted business objectives.
- Experience in managing complex projects involving advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling is required.
- Strong background in collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science is expected to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation.
