Open Cut Excavation Foreman

Our wages for this position range from $35 to $42 per hour. Because we have multiple divisions in our company you will have the opportunity to learn other skills, such as welding, auger boring or transferring to other divisions and learn those related skills.

Daily job duties include but are not limited to:

• Direct supervision of crew on water and wastewater projects
• Completing all paperwork to include timecards, vehicle and equipment inspection logs
• Verbal and written communication with all parties
• Evaluating crew members skills
• Solving problems as they arise on the jobsite

Experience and Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience with open excavation and underground utility work
• Excellent attention to detail and follows through
• Strong communication skills
• Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task
• Must be team oriented
• Must be able to obtain a CDL, Class A license within 6 months

Other Experience preferred:

• OSHA 10 and/or 30-hour course training
• Class “A” CDL
• 1st Aid / CPR
• Experienced heavy equipment operator (Excavator and Loader)
• Background in construction and maintenance of utility infrastructures
