We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our rapidly moving team. The Project Coordinator will provide support and assistance to our Open Cut Division Project Manager, Superintendents, Project Coordinator Manager and Safety Manager on a daily basis. In this position you will need to move between and track various tasks on multiple projects. To be successful, you will need to be highly organized, pay attention to details, and follow established procedures.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Review project contracts and change orders
- Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
- Preparing pre-qualification packets for customers
- Setting up job files and acquiring all necessary documents and information
- Requesting insurance certificates
- Maintaining contractor’s licenses (ensuring licenses are current)
- Reviewing contractor bid sites for upcoming job opportunities
- Assisting estimator with estimates and proposals
- Submitting utility locates by phone or web ticket entry
Job requirements:
- 2 years’ experience with project coordination in a busy construction environment
- Excellent attention to detail and follow through
- Strong written and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Must be team oriented
- Attention to details even under pressure
