WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
This part-time position provides assistance with accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable/receivable with a strong attention to detail and impeccable organization and time management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exhibit the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and stewardship, assuring GWC investors that contributions are well-utilized.
- Drive continuous improvement processes for internal systems to enhance compliance and best practices.
- Accurate and timely entry of accounts payable and receivable.
- Review expense coding for proper financial reporting.
- Process deposits
- Complete month-end closing procedures to include preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist with providing information for the external audit.
- Request necessary documentation and maintain records for vendors.
- Process annual 1099 forms.
- Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and reconciling in accounting software.
- Assist with financial reporting and preparation of special reports as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience desirable.
- 2 years' experience with accounts receivable/payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software, relationship management tools (preferably Salesforce), SmartSheets and MS Suite.
- Highly analytical with keen attention to detail.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and climbing stairs as needed.
