Job Title : Event Host and Client Engagement Specialist

Job Description : We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized individual to join our team as an Event Host and Client Engagement Specialist. In this part-time role, you will be the face of our company at our live seminar events, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Greeting attendees as they arrive and making them feel welcome.
  • Showing guests to their tables and assisting them throughout the event.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to address any needs or questions attendees might have.
  • Coordinating with the presenter to facilitate smooth transitions and event flow.
  • Encouraging and assisting attendees to schedule follow-up appointments for complimentary reviews at our office.

Work Schedule and Compensation :

  • Estimated 10-20 hours per week. Primarily 11am-2pm and / or 5-8pm on weekdays.
  • Compensation : $30 per hour plus incentives for high booking ratio.
  • No benefits offered for this part-time position.
  • Job Location :

    Various venues (restaurants, college campuses, libraries, etc) in the Fort Lauderdale, Weston and Coral Spring areas.

    Key Responsibilities :

    1. Event Preparation :

  • Arrive early to assist with event setup and ensure everything is ready for guests.
  • Prepare and organize materials and information for the event.
  • 2. Guest Engagement :

  • Greet and welcome attendees, checking them in and providing name tags.
  • Show attendees to their seats and ensure they are comfortable.
  • Be attentive to guest needs, offering assistance and answering questions.
  • 3. Support During the Event :

  • Monitor the event to ensure it runs smoothly.
  • Provide support to the presenter as needed.
  • Engage with attendees before and after the presentation to build rapport.
  • 4. Appointment Setting :

  • Encourage attendees to schedule complimentary review appointments.
  • Assist in coordinating and confirming appointment times.
  • Collect and record contact information for follow-up communication.
  • 5. Post-Event Follow-Up :

  • Help with event teardown and cleanup.
  • Follow up with attendees to confirm appointments and answer any additional questions.
  • Qualifications :

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
  • Experience in customer service or event coordination is a plus.
