Seeking a CAD Designer with experience in ProEngineer Creo CAD software for a full-time contract position. Initial duration – 12 months.
As a mechanical CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and models of industrial circuit breakers using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely with engineers to translate conceptual designs into detailed files.
- Create 2D and 3D drawings and models based on specifications provided by engineers.
- Review and interpret rough sketches, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Use CAD software to generate accurate and detailed drawings of parts, assemblies, and structures.
- Incorporate design changes and revisions as directed by project stakeholders.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and optimize designs for manufacturability.
- Maintain organized file management and documentation of drawings and project files.
Skills Required
- Proficient in ProEngineer Creo CAD software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in file creation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
- Familiarity with drafting standards and best practices.
Education Required
Associate degree or technical certificate in computer-aided design, drafting or related field.
Work Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in CAD design and drafting.
- Proficient in ProEngineer Creo CAD software.
Work Experience Desired
- 5 years experience with ProEngineer Creo CAD software.
- Experience with circuit breaker design
- Experience with molded part design
- Experience with Enovia PLM
