Procurement Specialist

We are recruiting for a Procurement Specialist on behalf of our manufacturing client based in the New York City Metro area. Apply your great organizational, project coordination and communication skills to help ensure availability of materials, support production and manage supplier relationships. This role requires strong collaboration skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet project goals and maintain accurate inventory levels. Responsibilities

• Manage and track orders with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials
• Oversee purchasing for indirect materials and inventory transfers between sites
• Coordinate with production teams to address material needs and shortages
• Resolve any supplier issues or discrepancies to keep operations on schedule
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to meet production forecasts

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field desired.
• 2 years' experience in a related role
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and quick, high-quality typing skills
