Production Supervisor

We’re actively seeking a Production Supervisor for our national client based out of Chicago, IL. This position reports to the plant manager and plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations of the plant to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards. Work for a fun and focused team! Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the production process to meet goals while maintaining efficiency and minimizing waste.
• Keep a close eye on product quality, ensure standards are met, and take quick action to fix any issues that come up.
• Lead the production team with fairness and consistency, ensuring everyone follows operational standards and works together smoothly.
• Support and lead the production team by providing training, overseeing performance, and clearly communicating company standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Enforce safety regulations, conduct safety training, and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
• Look for ways to streamline production, cut costs, and boost efficiency to keep operations running smoothly.
• Work closely with the plant manager to ensure mechanical, scheduling and personnel issues are handled effectively and appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise and motivate production staff.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of quality control processes and ability to enforce quality standards.
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve production issues.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with teams across departments.
