Job Title: PeopleSoft Security Expert

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Security Expert to perform a comprehensive assessment and enhancement of our FSM PeopleSoft Security framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PeopleSoft Security, access control best practices, and experience implementing security improvements. This role will require some on-site presence in the Houston, TX area.
Scope of Work:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the current FSM PeopleSoft Security configuration.
- Identify and document all existing configuration roles and elevated rights.
- Identify and document any existing access vulnerabilities or misconfigurations.
- Identify and document all existing roles and permissions, defining role owners for annual attestation approvals.
- Ensure the security configuration aligns with industry standards and best practices, providing recommendations for changes as necessary.
- Implement approved changes to rectify identified security risks based on the assessment findings.
- Assess and document potential improvements to the current provisioning/deprovisioning process, particularly in relation to the IAM tool Rapid Identity.
- Evaluate Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) or Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) to simplify and enhance security.
- Suggest improvements to the existing security request form and approval process to ensure a streamlined, user-friendly experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience conducting PeopleSoft Security assessments and implementations.
- Strong expertise in identifying and resolving access issues.
- Deep knowledge of industry standards and best practices for PeopleSoft Security.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
