For over 40 years, we’ve produced a wide variety of cable assemblies, ranging from a single ground wire to multi-cable complex assemblies. At GlobalTec, we know each assembly brings its own set of challenges, so our team develops required filtering and test equipment to accommodate each design.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Configuration Analyst plays a vital role in creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date Bill of Materials (BOMs) for products, ensuring smooth product development, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. This role involves creating, modifying, and managing BOM structures, configurations, and related data within ERP
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support new business opportunities by creating BOMS and completing component selection per customer specifications.
- Create, update and maintain multi-level BOMs for existing products within ERP
- Provide BOM and configuration support for engineering, sales, and program management
- Ensure that customer requirements are implemented, and review change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and procedures.
- Confirm component/tooling required for new product
- Verify all features on the assembly are clearly defined for manufacturing/verification.
- Manage workflow to meet project deadlines/assignments and to support day-to-day efforts for multiple programs.
EDUCATION and TRAINING:
Associates degree or equivalent work experience
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Excellent computer literacy and analytical skills
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in manufacturing, drawing review and BOM creation preferred.
