QA FINAL INSPECTION

Job Objective:

• Inspects manufactured parts to assure Globe provides quality products and meets all the required specifications and requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints including GD&T requirements, weld symbols and fastener callouts.
• Read and understand manufacturing specifications, as well as customer quality clauses and special requirements.
• Perform geometrical dimensioning. (FARO Arm and CAD experience a Plus)
• Develop positive working relationships with customers (source inspectors).
• Gaging techniques and trigonometry.
• Perform dimensional inspections on sheet metal, machined parts, and tubing inspection.
• Familiar with AS 9100 and AS 9102 FAI requirements.
• Create cert packages including COC’s with supporting documentation.
• Provides daily shop support.
• Experience working with Microsoft office products.
• Performs other related work as required.

Work Environment:

• Usual working days/hours: Monday thru Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm; Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm. Working hours are subject to change based company needs, may require working on Saturday.
• Manufacturing shop environment
• Frequently walks throughout the shop
• Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally.
• Ability to move parts throughout the shop using a pallet jack.

• Calipers
• Height gages
• Micrometer
• Faro-Arm

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior aviation inspection experience required
• CMM or FARO Arm experience preferred.
• Net-Inspect a plus
• COVID Vaccination Required
