QA FINAL INSPECTION

Job Objective:
- Inspects manufactured parts to assure Globe provides quality products and meets all the required specifications and requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints including GD&T requirements, weld symbols and fastener callouts.
- Read and understand manufacturing specifications, as well as customer quality clauses and special requirements.
- Perform geometrical dimensioning. (FARO Arm and CAD experience a Plus)
- Develop positive working relationships with customers (source inspectors).
- Gaging techniques and trigonometry.
- Perform dimensional inspections on sheet metal, machined parts, and tubing inspection.
- Familiar with AS 9100 and AS 9102 FAI requirements.
- Create cert packages including COC’s with supporting documentation.
- Provides daily shop support.
- Experience working with Microsoft office products.
- Performs other related work as required.
Work Environment:
- Usual working days/hours: Monday thru Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm; Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm. Working hours are subject to change based company needs, may require working on Saturday.
- Manufacturing shop environment
- Frequently walks throughout the shop
- Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally.
- Ability to move parts throughout the shop using a pallet jack.

- Faro-Arm
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior aviation inspection experience required
- CMM or FARO Arm experience preferred.
- Net-Inspect a plus
- COVID Vaccination Required
