Technical Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Technical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and possess strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and CAD software. If you have a keen eye for detail and a background in Fitting/Specking Garments , we want to hear from you.

Duties:

• Collaborate with design and product management teams to develop technical specifications for new products
• Conduct fit sessions on Fit Mannequins , including size sets to make necessary fit corrections
• Communicate Fit Comments with Freelancers trying on clothing on their children
• Able to identify fit issues, perform fit adjustments
• Conduct fittings and provide feedback on garment construction
• Create detailed technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator
• Utilize CAD software to translate design concepts into technical drawings
• Create Tech Packs
• Work closely with production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into design

Qualifications:

• Understanding of garment construction
• Ability to identify fit issues and present options to solve issues
• Proficient in Illustrator, MS Excel
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to team members and appropriate depts
• Time management and organization skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Sense of urgency and Extreme attention to detail
• Ability to proactively problem solve

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Garment construction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Fashion design: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
