The Role
As a Commercial Insurance Producer, you will play a key role in driving new business growth, maintaining client relationships, and providing customized insurance solutions. With a primary focus on trucking and transportation insurance, you’ll have the opportunity to work with owner-operators, fleets, and other commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads and prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with business owners, fleet managers, and industry professionals.
- Assess client risks and recommend the best commercial insurance solutions.
- Negotiate coverage terms and pricing with top insurance carriers.
- Stay informed on trucking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with Glockner Insurance’s team to deliver exceptional client service.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in commercial insurance sales (trucking/transportation industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of commercial policies (e.g., liability, physical damage, cargo, workers' compensation).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Active P&C Insurance License (or willingness to obtain).
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven personality.
