What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance and Coding position at Glory Home Health Care?
- Coding Responsibilities:
- Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for home health services based on patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure proper sequencing of codes in accordance with CMS and payer guidelines.
- Review OASIS assessments and documentation to verify alignment with coded diagnoses and plan of care.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and updates in home health coding requirements.
- Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
- Perform audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal, state, and payer requirements.
- Identify trends and provide feedback to clinicians to improve documentation accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in training and educating staff on coding standards, documentation best practices, and regulatory updates.
- Work closely with case managers and clinicians to resolve discrepancies and improve patient record accuracy.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
