Here is what a day as a Service Desk Specialist might look like:
You are in a unique position to safeguard our company and partners through monitoring, analyzing, and helping to solve network and infrastructure issues each day. Your role ensures the CleanFleet & Glostone team has the tools and knowledge they need to do their jobs successfully.
You might support teammates with the set-up and implementation of new devices or supporting their transition to new technology; you could find yourself problem solving a technical situation with one of our clients; or you might be managing a security breach within the companys network. The variety of work that your role offers energizes you and keeps you nimble when it comes to an ever-evolving environment and team.
Communicating with a diverse set of individuals and roles is no problem for you. You understand each person might require a different level of support and you welcome the nuance each interaction brings. You are attentive to the needs and requests of your teammates and clients making sure to close cases in a timely manner and escalate those that might require broader IT team support.

As a baseline, you can demonstrate these qualifications:
- 3 years experience in IT
- Exceptional relationship building skills to support users directly
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Experience in Desktop Support
- Aptitude for switching, encryption, DNS and content delivery solutions
- Experience researching and deploying systems
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
- O365 administration and Active Directory management preferred
- Familiarity with Allworx Phone System preferred
- CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco Certified preferred

Based performance on the job and experience, this position offers opportunities for employees to expand and grow within the companies. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Occasionally, some updates and activities may require work outside of regular business hours. Starting rate for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience and skill set. Candidates must successfully complete a background investigation and drug test that includes cannabis prior to starting the role.
